Round-Up and Save allows you to automatically save the spare change from your purchases, helping you turn everyday spending into an opportunity to grow your savings little by little over time.
Whenever you make a purchase with your debit card, we will round up the amount to the nearest dollar and transfer the difference to your Savings, Holiday Club, Vacation Club or Money Market Account, your choice! Purchase amounts ending in .00 will round up to a dollar. Joint owners are included as well, making it a convenient option for multiple members on an account to contribute toward shared savings goals.
The change from each purchase is accumulated into one amount and transferred daily to the account you choose. This way, you can save money effortlessly with every purchase you make, and those small amounts can add up faster than you might expect.
- For example, if you purchase a coffee for $5.72, your transaction will round up to $6.00 and the $0.28 difference will be transferred into the savings account of your choice.
To grow your savings even more, consider setting up systematic savings. This allows you to automatically transfer a set amount from your checking account to your savings account on a regular schedule, such as weekly, biweekly, or monthly. By doing this, you are consistently setting money aside and building a strong savings habit over time.
