Dollar Dog mascot isn't a shepherd, a terrier or a poodle. Instead, this cash-conscious crusader is a breed apart, with superpowers that include teaching young people about smart money management, the joys of saving, and the value of, well, a dollar.

Opening a Membership Savings account for your child establishes their membership with Market USA Federal Credit Union. Children ages 12 and under are automatically enrolled in the Dollar Dog Club, giving them access to fun, educational tools and experiences designed just for kids.

Members of the Dollar Dog Club get birthday cash, access to special online activities, and a solid head start to becoming financially responsible adults.

• Low minimum opening deposit of $5
• Children age 12 and under are eligible to join (a parent or guardian age 18 or over must be a joint owner)
• A special yearly birthday card from Dollar Dog
• $1 deposit into your child's savings account at the beginning of their birthday month
